An Pagsungko ni Ina sa Kapitolyo (Ina Visits Capitol)

The Provincial Government of Camarines Sur commits not only to provide good governance and social responsibility, but to fodder the spiritual aspect of its every employee.

On August 09, 2017, Our Ina, Virgen de Peňafrancia together with the image of Divino Rostro visited the Provincial Capitol of Camarines Sur or we may call it “An Pagsungko ni Ina” or Mary’s Visitation.

The employees of every department took the opportunity to get close and pay homage to Ina, and pray their intentions, by organizing a vigil. It was highlighted with the celebration of mass which was presided by Fr. Marc Real, Parish Priest & Fr. Tots Tuyay, Parochial Vicar, Christ the King Parish. In his homily, Fr. Real focused on the integral role of a mother. That a mother never gets tired of loving and caring for her children. Like “Ina”, she is a mother to Bicolandia. In that way, she intercedes for all the problems we encounter in our everyday lives.

The intercession of Ina continued in a procession going to the CSITC building which was participated by the employees of Provincial Internal Audit Office(PIAO), Provincial Treasurer’s Office(PTO), Information, Communication, Archiving and Management Office (ICARMO), Provincial Rural Development Program Office. “An Pagsungko ni Ina”, or Mary’s visitation, is a regular activity of parishes in the Archdiocese in preparation for the upcoming Peñafrancia Festival.

Said event was memorable because it reminded them of the duty as part of the Christian community: to embrace God in our daily lives.
